Venus turns retrograde on May 15, 2012
at 23 degrees Gemini for 40 days, until June 27. This means that
Venus appears to go backwards from the Earth's perspective. Venus
relates to self-worth, your values, self-love,
self-respect, pleasure, sex, business, money, art, creativity,
beauty, women, and exploring the pleasures in life. Venus also
represents femininity, relationships, how you relate to the world,
and how you earn money.
Gemini represents
business, commerce, talking, listening, thinking, communicating,
teaching, writing and the expression of thoughts and ideas in
general. Gemini is very talkative, quick-witted, versatile, mobile,
restless, cheeky, curious, mischievous, vivacious, inconsistent,
dualistic, falls in love with wit and intelligence, inquisitive and
inquiring. One of the main downfalls of Gemini is gossip,
superficiality, fickleness, and bending the truth to suit self-gain.
The upcoming
