This month's full moon is in Leo on January 26 at 11:39 pm EST. The Sun is in Aquarius and the Moon is in Leo. Aquarius relates to the collective consciousness and the world at large. Leo relates to the individual. When the Aquarius Sun reflects of the Leo Moon, we are reminded that each individual affects the global consciousness. What we think and feel matters not only to ourselves but to the collective as well. The full moon shines the light on what is hidden or unconscious, urging us to bring this issue to the light for healing. Mercury, the planet of communication is close to the Sun, highlighting the need to speak your truth. Jupiter, the planet of faith, hope and belief went retrograde in October, and goes direct once more on January 30, encouraging us now to think big and have faith and hope in ourselves. The asteroid Vesta turned retrograde in October and goes direct January 26, twelve hours before the moon is full. Vesta relates to the feminine principles of home, hearth and family and asks each of us to create the home and family life we have been dreaming of.

New Moon in Capricorn Jan 11 2013

The new moon this month occurs in Capricorn on January 11, 2013 at 2:44 pm EST. Both the Sun and the Moon are in Capricorn, an earth sign that is known for its practicality, realism and ambition. It also relates to responsibility, hard work and resources. Mercury, Pluto, Venus and the asteroid Juno (partnership) are also in Capricorn, adding to the intense energy of Capricorn. Look at the upcoming year with new eyes, seeing life in a new way, yet still being practical and responsible. Are you waiting for a miracle in your life? Or do you view every day as a miracle? Capricorn relates to power as well, and with Pluto in Capricorn now until 2024, the world will be redefining its definition of power. True power lies within, and love, truth, creativity, community and good health are the real sources of our power.

Saturn moves into Scorpio October 4, 2012

Saturn moved into Scorpio on October 4, 2012 for two and a half years. Saturn is the Lord of Karma, the great teacher, and how we learn our lessons. Scorpio deals with shared resources, trust, truth, sexuality, and secrets. Many secrets will be coming to light both on personal and global levels over the next few years. Saturn in Scorpio teaches us to discover our truth, stop living in denial, and take action to align with this truth.

Lunar Eclipse November 28, 2012

On November 28, there is a full moon lunar eclipse in Gemini. For a few moments, the Moon is not able to reflect the light of the Sun, allowing our unconscious desires and fears to come to the surface.  With the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius, our secret hopes, beliefs and wishes will come to light, allowing us to make changes if we honor these wishes.

Mars moves into Capricorn on November 16, it squares Uranus on the 23 and joins Pluto on the 27^th. Its now time to take action to make big changes in your life.

On November 28 and 29, Venus forms positive angles to both Pluto and Mars, which helps to attract opportunities for love, prosperity and creativity.

 

Solar Eclipse November 13, 2012

Solar eclipses are very powerful new moons, signaling major endings and beginnings. They occur on the same degree every 19 years, so think back 19 years ago to the issues in your life at that time. What were you thinking, feeling and dealing with? On November 13, 2012, a solar eclipse in Scorpio occurs at 21 degrees. This is also a Supermoon, when the moon is closest to the Earth and in line with both the Sun and the Earth. This intensifies the gravitational pull on the Earth, its tides, tectonic plates and our psyches. Scorpio brings issues and events into the light, from the dark of our unconscious. What is holding you back from moving forward? This solar eclipse will bring hidden issues to the light, to help you heal and move ahead. Neptune (surrender, go with the flow) and Chiron (healing), both in Pisces, end their retrograde cycle on November 10 and 14, so the energies of these planets are intensified now. Mercury retrograde Nov 6 - 26, 2012

On November 6, Mercury turns retrograde until November 26, first in Sagittarius and then into Scorpio on November 13. This can be a challenging time for travel, technology and communication. With Mercury back in Scorpio after the 13th, secrets and truth will come to the surface to be revealed after the 26^th. This is a good time to do inner work, and reflection.

The new Moon this month is in Leo on August 17, 2012 at 11:56 am EDT. The Sun and Moon are both in Leo, the fifth sign of the zodiac, representing our connection to the heart, the life force energy and the heart chakra. It is time to live from the heart and have the courage to be who you really are. Are your decisions made from love or fear ? Decisions made from love will always be the right ones. 

Mercury went direct on August 8, so communications will flow much more smoothly from now on.
