On June 6, 2012 Venus will transit the Sun, a rare and unusual occurrence. A Venus transit of the Sun occurs in pairs, every 177 years, the first was on June 8, 2004. The last pair of transits occurred in 1874 and 1882, the next pair will occur in 2117 and 2125. Venus represents love, beauty, art and artistic expression. During a Venus transit, the energy of Venus is drastically heightened, allowing a increased flow of feminine energy, light and love, to envelop the Earth and all of her inhabitants. It signifies the collective readiness for the emergence of the divine feminine, allowing women to reclaim their power, and allowing men to embrace their emotions, feelings and intuition. On June 6, allow the energy of love, light and beauty to surround you and welcome this energy into your being. The people, places or things that no longer serve your highest good will continue to be washed away, ready to be replaced by things that are in alignment with the new you.

Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Sag June 4, 2012

The full moon this month is in Sagittarius on June 4, 2012 at 7:13 am EDT. This full moon is a lunar eclipse, ending the eclipse season of this spring. During a lunar eclipse, we receive the Moon's energy directly, without the reflection of the Sun, exposing a deeper level of our emotionality. Emotions will be running high, inviting us to release these trapped emotions in the body. Feel the emotions by crying, process them by writing them out or by physical activity, acknowledge them, then let them go. Allow them to be washed away by the rain or in a shower.

The Sun is in Gemini, the Moon is in Sagittarius. Gemini represents knowledge, information, communication, local travel, and socializing. Sagittarius represents higher knowledge, hope, faith, beliefs, adventure, foreign travel and taking risks. The New Moon this month is in Gemini on May 20, 2012 at 7:48 pm EDT. This new Moon is a solar eclipse, where the Moon temporarily blocks the electromagnetic waves of the Sun, allowing our consciousness to be transformed and rebooted. Old programs and habits more easily slip away, allowing us to make the necessary internal changes to move into the future. Solar eclipses are very powerful new Moons, signifying major endings and new beginnings, occurring near the same degree every nineteen years. Something you started nineteen years ago is coming to an end, and something new will be birthed. Gemini relates to learning through the exploration of duality. Venus retrograde May 15 2012

Venus turns retrograde on May 15, 2012 at 23 degrees Gemini for 40 days, until June 27. This means that Venus appears to go backwards from the Earth's perspective. Venus relates to self-worth, your values, self-love, self-respect, pleasure, sex, business, money, art, creativity, beauty, women, and exploring the pleasures in life. Venus also represents femininity, relationships, how you relate to the world, and how you earn money.

Gemini represents business, commerce, talking, listening, thinking, communicating, teaching, writing and the expression of thoughts and ideas in general.
