Lunar Eclipse November 28, 2012
On November 28, there
is a full moon lunar eclipse in Gemini. For a few moments, the Moon is not able
to reflect the light of the Sun, allowing our unconscious desires and fears
to come to the surface. With the Moon in
Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius, our secret hopes, beliefs and wishes will
come to light, allowing us to make changes if we honor these wishes.
Mars moves into
Capricorn on November 16, it squares Uranus on the 23 and joins Pluto on the 27th.
Its now time to take action to make big changes in your life.
On
November 28 and 29, Venus forms positive angles to both Pluto and Mars, which
helps to attract opportunities for love, prosperity and creativity.
Solar Eclipse November 13, 2012
Solar eclipses are
very powerful new moons, signaling major endings and beginnings. They occur on
the same degree every 19 years, so think back 19 years ago to the issues in
your life at that time. What were you thinking, feeling and dealing with? On
November 13, 2012, a solar eclipse in Scorpio occurs at 21 degrees. This is
also a Supermoon, when the moon is closest to the Earth and in line with both
the Sun and the Earth. This intensifies the gravitational pull on the Earth,
its tides, tectonic plates and our psyches. Scorpio brings issues and events
into the light, from the dark of our unconscious. What is holding you back from
moving forward? This solar eclipse will bring hidden issues to the light, to
help you heal and move ahead. Neptune (surrender, go with the flow) and Chiron
(healing), both in Pisces, end their retrograde cycle on November 10 and 14, so
the energies of these planets are intensified now. They both retrograded backwards
in June 2012. What has changed for you regarding your spiritual path and your
healing journey?
Mercury retrograde Nov 6 - 26, 2012
On November 6, Mercury
turns retrograde until November 26, first in Sagittarius and then into Scorpio on
November 13. This can be a challenging time for travel, technology and
communication. With Mercury back in Scorpio after the 13th, secrets and truth
will come to the surface to be revealed after the 26th. This is a
good time to do inner work, and reflection.

New Moon in Leo August 17
The new Moon this month is in Leo on
August 17, 2012 at 11:56 am EDT. The Sun and Moon are both in Leo,
the fifth sign of the zodiac, representing our connection to the
heart, the life force energy and the heart chakra. It is time to live
from the heart and have the courage to be who you really are. Are
your decisions made from love or fear ? Decisions made from love will
always be the right ones.
Mercury went direct on August 8, so communications will flow much more smoothly from now on.

July Cosmic Events
Mars enters Libra on July 3. With Saturn now going direct in Libra and Mars in Libra, the focus is once again on relationships. How do we take action to create good communication, peace and a win-win situation for all involved ?
On July 13, Uranus stations retrograde and stays retrograde for five months. During this time, we can look inside to discover how to create freedom for ourselves, and what needs to change so that we can proceed unrestricted into the future.
On July 14, Mercury goes retrograde in Leo for three weeks, until August 7. During this time, decide what comes from ego and what comes from your soul. It is time to be creative and courageous.
On July 22, the Sun moves out of Cancer and into Leo. It is time to play, be creative and reconnect to your inner child.
Full Moon July 3
The full moon this month is in Capricorn on July 3, 2012 at 2:53 pm EDT. This full moon echoes the message of the Pluto Uranus square that occurred on June 24, evolution via revolution. The Sun triggered the same Pluto Uranus alignment on June 29. Uranus reminds us that we need to be free, innovative and help each other, while Pluto helps to illuminate our shadow selves. Huge changes need to be made, but where do we start. We all need to imagine a world where we can all live in love, peace and abundance. Keep the vision in your heart and make it real. The Sun at this full moon joins Sirius, the brightest and closest star in the sky. Sirius has historic links to many cultures, including Egypt, Greece, the Maori in New Zealand and the Mali in Africa. In esoteric astrology, Sirius represents our spiritual Sun, watching over humanity's awakening. More and more people are feeling the quickening of awakening inside, and want to know about their true origins.Enjoy this magical day.

New Moon in Gemini June 19, 2012
The new Moon this month is in Gemini on June 19, 2012 at 11:02 am EDT. The Sun and Moon are both in Gemini, the third sign of the zodiac, representing our connection to the mental plane, through knowledge, information, ideas, communication, and the media. New information will be coming to us quickly now, inviting us to perceive our lives and our world differently.
This new Moon is greatly influenced by other cosmic events surrounding it. On June 20, the solstice occurs, heralding the start of summer in the northern hemisphere and the start of winter in the south. On June 24, Pluto and Uranus greet each other with the first exact square of seven squares, beginning a three year period of personal and global evolution and revolution. Saturn, the planet of karma, responsibility and commitment goes direct on June 25. Venus, the planet of relationships, beauty and values, goes direct on June 27, and we are now ready to act on our new values, priorities, and commitments. On June 11, Jupiter begins its journey through Gemini, an occurrence that happens every 12 years. If your Sun sign is Gemini, be prepared for many blessings and opportunities to enter your life this year.
Remember, every thought, word and idea matters.

Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces June 4
Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces at 3 degrees. Now is the time to tune into ourselves for spiritual inspiration and guidance, not outside ourselves.
Sunday, June 3, 2012
Venus Transit of the Sun June 6 2012
On June 6, 2012 Venus will transit the Sun, a rare and unusual occurrence. A Venus transit of the Sun occurs in pairs, every 177 years, the first was on June 8, 2004. The last pair of transits occurred in 1874 and 1882, the next pair will occur in 2117 and 2125. Venus represents love, beauty, art and artistic expression. During a Venus transit, the energy of Venus is drastically heightened, allowing a increased flow of feminine energy, light and love, to envelop the Earth and all of her inhabitants. It signifies the collective readiness for the emergence of the divine feminine, allowing women to reclaim their power, and allowing men to embrace their emotions, feelings and intuition. On June 6, allow the energy of love, light and beauty to surround you and welcome this energy into your being. The people, places or things that no longer serve your highest good will continue to be washed away, ready to be replaced by things that are in alignment with the new you.
Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Sag June 4, 2012
The full moon this month is in Sagittarius on June 4, 2012 at 7:13 am EDT. This full moon is a lunar eclipse, ending the eclipse season of this spring. During a lunar eclipse, we receive the Moon's energy directly, without the reflection of the Sun, exposing a deeper level of our emotionality. Emotions will be running high, inviting us to release these trapped emotions in the body. Feel the emotions by crying, process them by writing them out or by physical activity, acknowledge them, then let them go. Allow them to be washed away by the rain or in a shower.
The Sun is in Gemini, the Moon is in Sagittarius. Gemini represents knowledge, information, communication, local travel, and socializing. Sagittarius represents higher knowledge, hope, faith, beliefs, adventure, foreign travel and taking risks. New information will be coming to you now, helping you to adjust your beliefs, ideas and attitudes that serve you and the greater good in more positive ways.
The energy has been shifting and changing dramatically since the lunar eclipse of May 5. Higher vibrational waves of energy have been deluging the earth, encouraging us to release unhealthy ideas, beliefs and values that no longer serve us or the greater good of humanity.

New Moon Solar Eclipse May 20, 2012
The New Moon this month is in Gemini on May 20, 2012 at 7:48 pm EDT. This new Moon is a solar eclipse, where the Moon temporarily blocks the electromagnetic waves of the Sun, allowing our consciousness to be transformed and rebooted. Old programs and habits more easily slip away, allowing us to make the necessary internal changes to move into the future. Solar eclipses are very powerful new Moons, signifying major endings and new beginnings, occurring near the same degree every nineteen years. Something you started nineteen years ago is coming to an end, and something new will be birthed. Gemini relates to learning through the exploration of duality. Have you learned to see both sides of a situation, not just your side? Remember to communicate your truth with love, kindness and honesty. This eclipse is inviting us to balance our masculine/feminine within.

Venus retrograde May 15 2012
Venus turns retrograde on May 15, 2012
at 23 degrees Gemini for 40 days, until June 27. This means that
Venus appears to go backwards from the Earth's perspective. Venus
relates to self-worth, your values, self-love,
self-respect, pleasure, sex, business, money, art, creativity,
beauty, women, and exploring the pleasures in life. Venus also
represents femininity, relationships, how you relate to the world,
and how you earn money.
Gemini represents
business, commerce, talking, listening, thinking, communicating,
teaching, writing and the expression of thoughts and ideas in
general. Gemini is very talkative, quick-witted, versatile, mobile,
restless, cheeky, curious, mischievous, vivacious, inconsistent,
dualistic, falls in love with wit and intelligence, inquisitive and
inquiring. One of the main downfalls of Gemini is gossip,
superficiality, fickleness, and bending the truth to suit self-gain.
The upcoming
retrograde highlights the possibility that all of the above can be
mismanaged, miscommunicated and the invisible becomes visible.
Relationships, communication, and gossip will be re-addressed,
re-assessed, re-visited, and reflected upon in order to rise above
that which has resulted in dysfunctional patterns. Lovers from the
past may re-surface for unfinished business to be addressed.
Therefore, this is the perfect time to invest your time and energy in
consciously addressing your thoughts and communication with regards
to relationships, desires, creativity, money, how you make money,
your values, self-worth, self-love, and how this impacts you for
better or worse.
Full Moon in Scorpio May 5 2012
The full moon this month is in Scorpio
on May 5, 2012 at 11:36 pm EDT. The Sun is in Taurus, the Moon is in
Scorpio, reminding us to reflect on what we value and what we must
change to become more of our authentic selves. The sign of Taurus
relates to money, values, resources, our sense of self-worth, our
bodies and Mother Earth. The sign of Scorpio relates to feelings,
truth, trust, and transformation. This full Moon asks us to ponder
the questions, What is my truth? What do I really need to create a
healthy sense of self-worth? What is the truth of my feelings and
what are these feelings telling me? How do I learn to trust myself,
so that I can then trust others? This full Moon in Scorpio highlights
how we misuse our resources and the resources of Mother Earth.

New Moon in Taurus April 21, 2012
The new Moon this month is in Taurus on
April 21, 2012 at 3:20 pm EDT. The Sun and Moon are both in Taurus,
the second sign of the zodiac, representing our relationship to the
physical plane, our bodies, nature, and Mother Earth. It also rules
our self-worth, self-esteem and material wealth. Often we equate our
self-worth to our material wealth, but true wealth is discovering
peace of mind, a connection to our authentic self and to Mother
Earth. Connecting to Mother Earth through meditation or walking in
nature helps to bring the peace and calmness of Mother Earth into our
bodies. Do a daily grounding meditation, where you connect to the
Earth. Without this earthly connection, we cannot manifest our goals
and inspirations onto the earthly plane. With the warm weather we
have been having lately, this is the perfect time to get outside and
reconnect with the Earth in some way. Hiking, gardening, tennis
anyone ?
Wedding Gift Packages
With the wedding season
upon us, I was inspired to create two Astrological Wedding packages
to give as a wedding gift to loved ones who are about to embark on
the sacred journey of marriage.
Package One
1.
Karmic Astrology report for the bride.
2.
Karmic Astrology report for the groom.
3.
Relationship Report. This report highlights each person's
relationship
potential: the emotional needs, temperament, hang-ups and issues they
bring to the relationship. It then goes on to highlight the
compatibility between the two people.
4.
Composite Chart Report. This report analyzes romantic relationships
by analyzing the composite chart in detail; interpreting the rising
sign, house cusp signs, placements, aspects and midpoints. All these
astrological techniques will uncover the relationship potential
between the couple.
Cost: $100.
Package Two
This package consists of
the above four (4) reports PLUS a personal astrology reading by me.
This personal reading will look at the two karmic astrology charts of
the couple, identifying areas of ease and compatibility and areas
where conflict may arise, giving the couple suggestions to overcome
and deal with these areas of potential conflict. The astrology chart
of the wedding date will also be analyzed providing an indication of
the communication and emotional style of the couple.
Cost: $200.
Three Planets Change Direction this Month
Three
planets change direction this month, Mercury, Pluto and Mars.
Mercury
went retrograde on March 12 in Aries and will turn direct on April 4
in Pisces. We are reminded to use our head and hearts when
communicating. With Mercury direct on April 4, we can expect clear
communication, less computer glitches and smoother travel.
Pluto
will go retrograde on April 10 in Capricorn for five months,
highlighting the places where critical change is required in our
economic, social and political arenas. On a personal level, we can
ask ourselves what structures and routines in our daily lives are
out-dated and need to be re-envisioned to achieve our goals.
Mars
will turn direct on April 13 in Virgo, where it has been retrograde
since January 23. With Mars in Virgo, we have had a chance to review
how we assert our will and energy in regards to our diet and exercise
programs. I hope you have made some decisions to adopt a healthier
lifestyle.
Client Case Study: Pauline
Pauline is a woman in her
late fifties who came to see me for a karmic astrology reading to
understand why certain unhealthy patterns kept repeating themselves
in her life.
Over many past lives,
people are shaped by environments from past lives affecting their
current emotional state through unconscious memories. The
circumstances that surrounded us in a past life is what we expect our
world to reflect today, usually in terms of beliefs and limitations.
These unconscious memories often cause difficulties in our current
life. Therefore, it is very important to uncover what these
unconscious memories and beliefs are, in order to deal with them in
the present.
With the south node in
Virgo in the 7th
house, Pauline knows a lot about being of service and dutiful in
relationships, and learning about balance through these partnerships.
Her memory of relationships was one of being dutiful to her mate,
rather than being in love and compatible with her mate.
Aspects to the south node
show up in our current life as friction from other people, and
repetitive, unhealthy patterns. Pauline found much conflict and
tension when she expressed her desire for recognition of her
achievements. She was not able to assert her will or take action to
achieve her goals. She was not allowed to follow her beliefs and
dreams. She was not able to follow her heart in love and romance, and
did not achieve a sense of fairness, harmony and balance in her past
life. These patterns continue to show up in her life today when she
asserts herself.
The ruler of the south
node, Mercury, and its aspects are the roles she played in past
lives. This is important because these are the roles that feel
familiar to her in this life, and she will have expectations of
herself to fulfill the same type of role, even if it’s not
enjoyable or what she really wants to do. This familiar role is not
always what the soul wants to experience this time around either.
Pauline's south node
ruler, Mercury, is in Aquarius in the 12th house. She was a person
connected to her community, learning and intellectualizing. She was
also exploring creating freedom, breaking out of defined roles, being
original. She explored mysticism, surrendering and altered states of
consciousness. Looking at her south node, we can imagine that she was
not able to explore her beliefs and live her life according to her
own philosophy in a public way, as she received much friction from
others when she did so.
Aspects to the south node
ruler indicate that she was suppressed and controlled by people in
power (Pluto) or from very powerful people. Her creativity and
sexuality were repressed in her day to day life. She had a role as a
messenger or communicator, but was unable to fulfill this role in her
own way. Her message was controlled by other, more powerful people.
Pluto represents the
soul's greatest desires and also the soul's greatest wounds that we
have from a past life, with similar wounding also occurring early in
this life. Most people create their current life unconsciously to
avoid this deep wounding and pain. We become disempowered by doing
this because our journey of empowerment begins with fulfilling our
soul's mission. True empowerment has everything to do with our
relationship to ourselves, not our relationship to others. Pauline's
Pluto is in Leo in the 6th
house. Her soul's deepest desire is to be a mentor or of service to
others in her own creative, unique, individual way. She must learn to
integrate her ego and identity in a healthy way, and communicate to
others what she has learned on her own journey. This could manifest
in her writing or speaking.
From some of the above
information regarding what is familiar to her from a past life, we
see that her soul's deepest desire will not be easy for her to
achieve.
Pauline's north node is in
Pisces in the first house. The north node represents areas of life
that the soul wants to learn about and grow and expand into. This is
new territory for her, and there may be many fears surrounding this
new way of being. Her soul wants to learn about asserting her will,
being independent and in a leadership position. She should explore
mysticism, surrendering control to a higher power and explore altered
states of consciousness. Her north node is conjunct Venus, Mars and
Jupiter, so she will also learn about how she relates to others, and
her beliefs, faiths and philosophy of life.
After this reading,
Pauline was able to see why some of the repeated patterns in her life
left her feeling disempowered. With a clear picture of what
unconscious memories she was carrying from past lives and what her
soul wants to learn and explore in this life, she was able to make
conscious choices about her relationships and career, and feel more
confident in herself and what she needs to do to achieve her soul's
purpose.
What is Joy to an Aries ?
This
article is the first article in a series on joy. What is joy? How
does each Sun sign experience joy? I hope this series will help you
to find more joy in your life. I think we could all use a little more
joy in our life.
What
is joy? One on-line dictionary definition states, “the emotion of
great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or
satisfying.” Finding joy, brings us more peace and happiness. What
you focus on, is what you get more of. So, focusing on joy each and
every day, even if only for ten minutes, will bring you more joy,
peace and blessings into your life.
What
brings an Aries joy? Aries is the sign of action, courage, initiative
and independence. The ruler of Aries is Mars, the planet of desire,
will and action. So for Aries, joy is all about action and doing,
often alone. With so much internal energy, physical activity is an
excellent way for an Aries to find joy. Do you love hiking? running?
tennis? golf? April is the first month of Spring where we are able to
get outside and enjoy outdoor activities such as golf. Golf brings
many people joy !
I
hope all of you have a wonderful month of April, finding more joy in
your life, whatever that means to you. I invite you to think about
what brings you joy, and engage in those activities as often as
possible. Next month, I will give you some hints on what brings joy
to a Taurus.
Full Moon April 6, 2012
The full moon this month is in Libra on
April 6, 2012 at 3:19 pm EDT. The Sun is in Aries, the Moon is in
Libra. Aries represents action, initiative, independence and
movement. Libra represents partnership, balance, harmony, and
cooperation. A full moon reminds us to balance opposite polarities,
and this month, we must learn to balance our own needs with the needs
of others. A full moon can illuminate the shadow side of situations.
If negative feelings and emotions come up in our relationships with
others, the answer is to find balance within and without.

True Black Moon Lilith
Who
is Lilith and what is her story ? What does Lilith represent in the natal chart
and why is this so important at this moment in time ? The mythological story of
Lilith goes something like this. In the
Garden of Eden, all the animals had natural mates and companions, except Adam.
He asked God for a mate to be his companion and playmate. So God divided Adam,
into two parts, the natural masculine,
himself, and the natural feminine, Lilith. All went quite well for these two
natural partners, until Adam wanted Lilith to be subservient to him. Of course,
Lilith would have no part of this. She believed they were equals since they
came from the same matter and consciousness. Adam insisted that he be the boss
and Lilith must obey him. Lilith, a true self-empowered being, left Adam and
the garden of Eden to go live in the Red Sea, where she could frolic freely in
the waters of the sea and enjoy her (pro-) creativity. In doing so, she
honoured her Goddess self, her authentic self, her empowered self.
Historically,
through the last many thousand years in our patriarchal society, Lilith has represented
anger and rage; the rage she feels at having to leave her natural home, the
Garden of Eden and her companion, Adam. Is this all Lilith represents, anger, rage
and the suppression of our natural instincts ? Or is it time to re-imagine the
archetype of Lilith ?
Lilith’s
story has taught humanity to feel shame and guilt for expressing our natural
instincts, desires and urges, and to
suppress the natural feminine. This can be seen throughout history as evidenced
in arranged marriages, women not having the right to vote until the last
century, and inequality in the workforce between men and women. How many
Canadian female Prime Ministers have been in office ? How many female US
Presidents ? In many countries today, women do not have the right to an
education, do not have rights to reproductive choices and healthcare and do not
have rights to property. The Taliban took over Herat (1994) and Kabul (1996), in
Afghanistan and stripped all women of their basic human rights. There are many
examples throughout history of the extreme suppression of the wild, natural
feminine and this still exists in our world today.
Each
one of us carries the karmic energy of the suppression of our natural desires,
whether we are masculine or feminine. As 2012 emerges, the consciousness of humanity is increasing, and we are all being urged to
become more self-aware, release our karmic baggage, and release beliefs
that no longer serve our authentic self.
It is time to re-write our own Lilith story, get in touch with our healed
Lilith, and get comfortable expressing our natural desires, passions and
creativity.
Astrology
provides a unique map of the soul’s journey, illuminating the wondrous
potential of the authentic self. True Black Moon Lilith is one jewel in the
natal chart to research, explore and discover, inviting us to ask questions
about our own Lilith, as indicated by sign, house and aspects. Where have my
natural instincts and desires been suppressed ? Where do my passions and
creativity express themselves most naturally and comfortably ? What are some
healthy choices I can make to express my natural instincts ?
Client Case Study: Roger
Roger
is a man in his mid fifties who came to see me for a karmic astrology
reading to learn more about his relationship issues.
Over
many past lives, people are shaped by environments from past lives
which affect their current emotional state through unconscious
memories. The circumstances that surrounded us in a past life is what
we expect our world to reflect today, usually in terms of beliefs and
limitations. These unconscious memories often cause difficulties in
this current life. Therefore, it is very important to uncover what
these unconscious memories and beliefs are, in order to deal with
them in the present.
With
the south node in Taurus in the 7th
house, Roger knows a lot about relationships, relating and learning
about balance through these partnerships. He was influenced by people
who were learning about self-worth and self-value, while gathering
skills, resources, money and learning about basic issues of survival
and stability.
Aspects
to the south node show up in our current life as friction from other
people, and repetitive, unhealthy patterns. Roger experienced
wounding to his self image and self worth whenever he was expressing
his creativity or his own authentic self. Whenever he tried to
express his unique abilities, he met with resistance from others.
Roger will experience fear, difficulty and discomfort in this life
when he expresses his unique creativity, in whatever way that
manifests.
The
ruler of the south node, Venus and its aspects are the roles he
played in past lives. This is important because these are the roles
that feel familiar to him in this life, and he will have expectations
of himself to fulfill the same type of role, even if its not
enjoyable or what he really wants to do. This familiar role is not
always what the soul wants to experience this time around.
Roger's
south node ruler Venus, is in Capricorn in the 3rd house. He was a
very hard-working, responsible person with a lot of ambition, looking
for respect and recognition from others. He valued learning,
exploring and communicating with others. Looking at his south node,
we can imagine that he did not receive the respect and recognition he
was looking for, since every time he expressed himself creatively he
was shut down by others.
Aspects
to the south node ruler indicate that he received a lot of friction
from large, well know religious leaders and/or members of his family
who had very strong opinions and had no problems expressing these
opinions to him.
Pluto
represents the soul's greatest desires and also the soul's greatest
wounds that we have from a past life, with similar wounding also
occurring early in this life. Most people create their current life
unconsciously to avoid this deep wounding and pain. We become
disempowered by doing this because our journey of empowerment begins
with fulfilling our soul's mission. True empowerment has everything
to do with our relationship to ourselves, not our relationship to
others. Roger's Pluto is in Virgo in the 11th
house. His soul's deepest desire is to be of service to others
through healing, health or being a mentor or example to others. He
needs to create freedom for himself and break free of worldly
restrictions, while putting his own creativity and imprint of
originality into the world. Aspects to Pluto give more information on
this theme. Pluto is square his Sun in Scorpio in the first house,
meaning he must learn his truth, to trust himself, be honest with
himself and to learn about the healthy use of his own power. He is
here to learn about his will, how to assert himself and be the leader
he was meant to be, all in a conscious, healthy way.

some of the above information regarding what is familiar to him from
a past life, we see that his soul's deepest desire will not be easy
for him.
Roger's
north node is in Scorpio in the first house. The north node
represents areas of life that the soul wants to learn about and grow
and expand into. This is new territory for him, and there may be many
fears surrounding this new way of being. His north node is conjunct
Mars, the planet of strength, willpower and action. His new direction
is to explore leadership in a healthy, empowered way based on his own
truth and belief in his authentic self.
After
this reading, Roger was able to see why some of the repeated patterns
in his life were disempowering him. With a clear picture of what
unconscious memories he was carrying from past lives and what his
soul needs to do in this life, he was able to make conscious choices
about his relationships, and feel more confident in himself and what
he needs to do to achieve his soul's purpose.
New Moon March 22 2012
The new Moon this month is in Aries on
March 22, 2012 at 10:38 pm EST. The Sun and Moon are both in Aries,
the first sign of the zodiac, representing action, initiative and
courage. Mars is the ruler of Aries and traditionally, Mars
represents war, armies and the military. With Mars currently
retrograde, we must re-envision Mars as the planet of the spiritual
warrior, empowering all of humanity with bravery and courage to
consciously create a new world where all can live in peace, love and
harmony. This new Moon conjuncts Uranus, the planet of revolution,
and Uranus is moving towards an exact square with Pluto, the planet
of evolution. The pace of revolution, moving us towards evolution, is
drastically speeding up, as evidenced by the many world changes
occurring right now. These changes will continue into the future for
many years. What is your sacred role in creating the new world ?
Where are you being asked to be brave and courageous ?
You are here on planet earth at this
point in time for a reason.
Full Moon March 8 2012 and Mercury Retrograde March 12 2012
The full moon this month is in Virgo on
March 8, 2012 at 4:41 am EST. The Sun is in Pisces, the Moon is in
Virgo, reminding us to go with the flow, surrender to a greater
calling, and be of service to others.
Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, and on
March 12, Mercury will go retrograde (appear to go back wards) until
April 4, 2012. Mercury retrograde often causes us to re-think, review
and revise travel plans, ideas, and our communications with others.
Mercury is very close to Uranus, the planet of revolution, and will
cross paths with Uranus three times this year on March 5, March 18
and April 22, emphasizing the energy of revolution and change.
Mercury is associated with the mind and thinking, and in order to get
the right answers, we must be asking the right questions. Do you need
a new perspective on life and the world ? How can new thinking
change your life ? Remember, your thoughts create your reality.
Neptune in Pisces - February 2012
Neptune
went into Pisces on February 4, 2012 and will stay there for
approximately fourteen years. This is significant because Neptune is
the ruler of Pisces, and a planet moving into its own sign amplifies
the energy associated with it. Neptune and Pisces both connect to
spirituality, the divine, the surrender of ego, going with the flow
and being in the moment.
Neptune
has been in the sign of Aquarius since 1998, so we have been working
on surrendering to something or connecting to the greater whole
(Neptune stuff) by first seeking to individuate, then bringing our
authentic self-expression back to our groups and associations
(Aquarian things). This is reflected in the growth of individual
spirituality and spiritual groups over the last fourteen years.
During this period, you have been invited to seek and be different,
in order to come back to the group in a more authentic way.
As
Neptune allows us to identify with something more or greater than
ourselves we experienced being part of a greater flow of life by
following our Neptunian energy. This urge to connect to something
greater is through letting go of control and surrendering our ego.
This may not be easy due to the ego's fear of losing control and its
desire to hold onto things we no longer need. We now have the
opportunity to evolve. We are called to let go of our ego, dissolve
our rule-based and structured lives, and go with our intuition,
inspiration, feelings, dreams and visions and choose to allow
ourselves to follow our dreams, visions and creativity. Let go of
your image of yourself and have the courage to be who you really are.
Listen to your inner voice to help you figure it out. Be inspired to
live the life you have always dreamed of. Let go of how you think
life is or should be and see the illusion we call life, for what it
really is. Realize the idea of separation is just a figment of your
ego's imagination and that we are all connected through a divine
consciousness; we are all one. Tap into the truth of yourself, your
world, and your reality.
Throughout
the next fourteen years, there will be opportunities to ask
ourselves, "Is this true?" We are being asked to see the
truth of ourselves, of our life, of our world, and to align our day
to day activities with the truth of our authentic selves. How do you
know if something is truth or illusion? Neptune knowledge is learned
through giving up control in the moment, and letting life and answers
flow. These answers come from the heart, our feelings and our
intuition. Meditation, spending time in nature, engaging with
animals, getting lost in music, or getting involved with creative
pursuits (write, draw, paint, dance), allows us to get in touch with
our Neptunian self to be inspired, and find our truth. We now need to
get information from ourselves as conscious beings, not from our
egoic selves. Allowing information to flow from other sources (the
divine), aligns us with our authentic self, our higher self, our
multi-dimensional self. Neptune in Pisces is a call to seek meaning
and understand why we are here, and to connect to the divine.
A
great Neptune in Pisces exercise is to write out what you are
challenged by, and ask what parts of you need to be in control and
why. Threat to survival or to an idea of self, is usually what is at
stake. Again, ask! "Is my survival really at stake?" "Do
I really need that part of my self-image any more?" Keep asking
these questions until you have a different sense of knowing; that
your intuition has come in strong and clear, and your ego has stepped
aside.

Neptune in Pisces Feb 4 2012
Neptune goes into Pisces on February 4, 2012 and will stay there for
approximately fourteen years. This change of sign invites us to
explore how we connect to the divine, and how we raise our
consciousness, in order to move into 2012 and beyond. The universe is asking us to dream big and have the courage and faith to manifest those dreams.

Uranus Square Pluto 2012 - The Chaos Continues
The
year 2012 is now upon us. It's no secret that 2012 is going to be a
year of unprecedented change and excitement in the world. 2011 was a
year of extraordinary revolution and change.
Astrology
is a beautiful, symbolic language where celestial bodies mirror the
events on planet Earth; as above, so below. One of the biggest cosmic
events of this century is going to occur this year, the square
between Uranus and Pluto. Pluto represents power struggles,
intensity, and transformation, and Uranus represents chaos,
independence, freedom and awakening. The first exact square between
these two planets will occur on June 26, 2012, followed by six more
exact squares over the next three years, on September 19, 2012, May
21, 2013, November 1, 2013, April 21, 2014, December 15, 2014, March
17, 2015. A square occurs when two planets are 90 degrees from each
other, their energies conflict and build tension between them, until
something gives way. Squares provide a lot of pressure and motivation
to make changes to situations that aren't working.
What
does this mean for us globally and personally ?
Globally,
humanity can already feel this tension and pressure mounting over the
last few years as evidenced by the events of 2008, the financial
crisis and the collapse of the US housing market. In 2010, we
experienced the destruction to the environment with the BP oil spill
in the Gulf of Mexico and the devastating earthquake in Haiti. In
2011 we saw the occupy Wall-Street movement ripple through out the
world, more financial chaos and protesting in Libya, Syria and
Greece. In early 2012, strange, unexplained noises were heard around
the world (is this UFO disclosure at last?). These changes and
struggles will continue throughout the next three years, as these two
planet square off in the heavens.
The
last time Uranus and Pluto were at a similar angle to each other was
in the 1960's, the years of much cultural change and social unrest.
Uranus rules computers and in the 1960's computers began to change
the way business was done. Since then, there has been a revolution in
computing, and the rise in social networking has created a world
where the people can be heard around the world instantaneously,
without intervention from the powers that be. The riots in Egypt in
early 2011 were organized via social media and the Egyptian
government tried to stop this by shutting down access to the
Internet. On January 18, 2012, Wikipedia staged a one day blackout to
protest two US government bills trying to control (Pluto) the
information on the Internet (Uranus). There will be much struggle
(Pluto) over the next three years to ensure the Internet maintains
its freedom (Uranus). This is one example of the struggles we will
see in the future between governments, corporations and the people.
There will be many changes throughout the world in the next three
years, in the areas of structures, governments and financial systems.
Most
of humanity views life changes as difficult, but the reality is that
life is always changing. The chaos and pressures that humanity feels
now and over the next three years, as reflected by Uranus and Pluto,
are necessary, so the structures, governments and systems that are no
longer viable, can be dissolved and new structures and systems put in
place for the benefit of all humanity.
A
personal astrology reading will illuminate the current issues and
pressures in your life, and help you make positive, empowered
choices, so you can feel more in control of your life and survive the
next three years with peace, happiness and joy in your heart.
Full Moon in Leo Feb 7 2012
The full moon this month is in Leo on
Feb 7, 2012 at 4:54 pm EST. The Sun is in Aquarius, the Moon is in
Leo, reminding us to always keep in mind the needs of the collective
while meeting our own needs. The sign of Leo relates to the heart,
creative self-expression and being our authentic self. The sign of
Aquarius deals with progress and the power of the group mind.
Humanity's progress must continue in a heart-centered, love-based way
to create life on planet Earth that is enjoyable for all sentient
beings. The Sun is conjunct Mercury, showing us the power of the
human mind. Our thoughts create reality, and in 2012, our thoughts
are manifesting very quickly now. We must combine our collective
thoughts and visions to achieve our heart-centered ideals for this
planet. Remember your soul mission to be an agent of change and enjoy
being on Earth at this auspicious time.
Saturn Retrograde
Saturn
has been in Libra now since November 2009. Saturn deals with hard
work, discipline, and judgement. Libra represents how we create
fairness, harmony and balance in relationships.
During the last two years, we have been learning about what we are responsible for in relationships. As humans, we tend to define ourselves through others, and expect others to be responsible for us. We have been challenged not to look to others for our own definition. It is now time for us to take responsibility for creating relationships based on our authentic selves, to stand up and speak our truth, and to show up as equals in our relationships. In order to create fairness, we must allow our significant other to show up as an equal and state their truth, and for us to listen to them, and allow them to be their authentic self. There may be a time of mourning as we let go of our past beliefs about how we should be in relationship and how our significant other should be.

Saturn
will go retrograde in Libra on February 7 until June 24, 2012. With
Saturn retrograde in Libra, we can take a look at how successful we
have been applying the above principles to our relationships. During
the next five months, we can make the necessary adjustments to our
relationships. Saturn likes hard work and discipline, so now is the
time to do the work to create intentional, harmonious, fair
relationships. Make a list of what you think you are responsible for
in a relationship, and another list of what you want to be
responsible for. The difference between the two is a good place to
start making adjustments in your relationship. Make sure to be
responsible and realistic in this assessment. Ask your partner to do
the same exercise and compare your lists. The two of you will be off
to a fantastic start for 2012 in creating an intentional, conscious
relationship.
Mars Retrograde
Mars
went retrograde in Virgo, on January 23, 2012. When a planet
retrogrades, it appears to go backwards from the Earth's perspective.
Of course, planets do not travel backwards, but because Astrology is
viewed from the Earth's perspective, they appear to go backwards.
Mars retrogrades once every two years approximately, so we are not
very familiar with this energy when it occurs. When a planet goes
retrograde, its energy is withdrawn or limited in some way. Mars is
the planet of action, will and desire. Virgo is the sign that
represents service, discernment, perfectionism, judgement and
humility.
Mars
went into Virgo last November, inviting us to analyze how and where
we use our energy. It may have seemed like every time we go to do
something, too many details popped up, slowing our progress. With
Mars now retrograde in Virgo, our willpower, and what we put our
energy into is looked at with discerning eyes. We can ask ourselves
the question, Am I putting my energy into something that helps me
achieve my souls purpose and intentions? Or is my energy best put
elsewhere to achieve my goals and ambitions in life?
Another
issue that may come up now, is why we judge whether something is
right or wrong. What is our benchmark to judge things by? Does this
benchmark come from authentic selves or from cultural conditioning?
Make changes where necessary. Mars goes direct mid-April, and we will
be able to move forward with more discerning actions. If we align our
will with our soul's intentions, we learn humility. If we align our
will with our ego, we will be humiliated.

New Moon in Aquarius January 23, 2012
The first new moon of 2012 is in Aquarius, the sign of freedom and progress, associated with the dawning of this new era of 2012. The ruler of Aquarius, Uranus, is conjunct the asteroid Ceres. Ceres is associated with the feminine archetype and women's rights. Social equality and women's rights will be highlighted now. The Sun in Capricorn is square to Saturn in Libra, calling for reform, balance and equality in relationships and business.
Mars turns retrograde on January 23 at 23 degrees of Virgo, and will be retrograde until April 13 at 4 degrees Virgo. Mars retrogrades once every two years, so this provides us an opportunity to reflect on which of our actions are working for us, and which ones aren't. When Mars go direct in April, we can continue our forward movement with less anger and aggressiveness and more assertive, well planned actions. Health and well-being and environmental issues are also highlighted during this time.
